LA GÉANTE : The taste of authenticity
Here is the latest beer of Brasserie Grain d'Orge : La Géante, a very lightly bitter beer. It is brewed with Flemish hops, malt of spring and wheat from Beauce.
The recipe dates 1919, when the founders of Brasserie Grain d'Orge launch this filtered beer sold in bottle whereas beer used to be sold in keg, was drunk in cafés and was not filtered.
As a consequence, in homage to the story of the brewery, there is a label on the neck with the name of the founders of Brasserie Grand d'Orge in 1898 : Desruelle-theetten.
La Géante has an ABV of 7,4°, is sold in a glass bottle of 1 litre with a ceramic cap
